The Youth Volunteer Corps of Greater Baltimore is dedicated to positive youth development, empowerment, community service, increasing volunteers and the promise of youth engaged as viable valued volunteer resources. Baltimore Rising - Mentoring Children with incarcared family members
The mission of the Mentoring Children of Incarcerated Parents Program (MCIP) is to create quality, lasting, one-on-one relationships that provide young people with caring role models for future success. The objectives are to provide young people with the following:
The expected outcomes are to increased opportunities and avenues for positive use of time, increased opportunities for positive self expression and to increased opportunities for youth participation and civic engagement.
The goals are to recruit caring adult role model to match with youth between the ages of 5 and 18 of incarcerated parents.
Project T.O.O.U.R. Mentoring Program- Youth and teens ages 5 thru 19. One on one and group mentoring activities. Adult mentoring for those who need various types of assistance or just someone to share with. Mentor and Mentee gathering once a month.
